Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how 2Arc ("2Arc," "we," "us," or "our") handles information in the Ranking Filter: Fun Challenge mobile application (the "Application").
The Application is provided as a free entertainment application. It allows users to create ranking-style videos using camera features, visual effects, and filter content.
1. Information We Process
1.1 Information you do not provide to us
The Application does not require user registration. We do not ask you to create an account or directly provide your name, email address, phone number, postal address, password, or payment information.
1.2 Camera, microphone, and video content
The Application may request access to your device camera and microphone to enable recording features. It may also request access to photos, videos, or media storage when you choose to save an output video to your device gallery.
Videos created in the Application, including the related visual effects processing, are processed locally on your device. We do not upload your raw recordings, processed videos, camera feed, or microphone recordings to 2Arc servers.
If you choose to save a completed video, it is saved to your device gallery under the controls and permissions of your device operating system. We do not receive a copy of that saved video.
If you choose to share a completed video using your device's share sheet, the selected third-party application or service may process that video under its own privacy policy. 2Arc does not receive a copy of the video solely because you choose to share it.
1.3 On-device face-related processing
The Application may use on-device face detection or similar local visual processing to support interactive camera effects. This processing is not used to identify or authenticate you. We do not upload, store, sell, or share facial templates, biometric identifiers, or facial recognition data.
1.4 Device, usage, and technical information
Through Firebase Analytics, Google Mobile Ads SDK, and related Google services, certain information may be collected or processed automatically. Depending on your device, operating system, app version, region, consent choices, and the advertising or analytics features in use, this may include:
- device type, operating system, language, and app version;
- device and app identifiers, including advertising identifiers where available;
- Internet Protocol (IP) address and network-related information;
- approximate location inferred from IP address or device/network signals;
- app interactions and usage information, such as app opens, sessions, filter selections, completed filters, share-button taps, and navigation-related events;
- advertising information, including ad requests, impressions, ad performance, and interactions with advertisements;
- diagnostic information related to application and SDK performance, such as app launch time, responsiveness, and energy usage.
The Application does not collect precise GPS location information. Third-party services may nevertheless infer an approximate location from your IP address or network information.
2. How We Use Information
We and our service providers may use information to:
- operate, maintain, and improve the Application;
- provide recording, processing, saving, and sharing features;
- understand general application usage and feature performance;
- measure events such as filter openings, completed videos, and sharing interactions;
- serve, measure, limit, personalize, or troubleshoot advertising;
- detect abuse, fraud, technical problems, and security incidents;
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our rights.
3. Advertising and Google AdMob
The Application uses Google AdMob to display advertisements, including banner advertisements and interstitial advertisements. Google AdMob and its advertising partners may process device information, advertising identifiers, IP address, app activity, ad interaction information, and other data needed to deliver, measure, secure, and improve advertising.
Depending on your region and privacy choices, advertisements may be personalized, non-personalized, limited, or otherwise configured in accordance with Google’s available advertising products and applicable requirements.
We use Google’s User Messaging Platform ("UMP") to request and manage advertising privacy choices where required by applicable law. For example, users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland may be shown a consent message that allows them to consent, refuse consent, or manage available privacy choices.
Where the Application displays a Privacy Choices or similarly named setting, you may use it to revisit the available advertising privacy choices. Your device operating system may also offer separate controls for advertising identifiers and ad personalization.
4. Firebase Analytics
The Application uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the Application is used and to improve features, stability, and user experience. Firebase Analytics may automatically collect certain app usage and device information and may also receive custom events defined by us, such as filter-open, filter-completion, share, or promotional interaction events.
We use analytics data in aggregated or event-based form to understand overall product usage. We do not use Firebase Analytics to create user accounts in the Application or ask you to provide direct profile information.
5. Static Content Delivery
Some static Application content, such as filter images and other media assets, may be delivered through Cloudflare services. In delivering and securing these assets, Cloudflare may process network-related information, such as IP address and request logs, in accordance with its own privacy practices.
We do not use Cloudflare to upload or store your recorded videos, camera feed, microphone recordings, facial templates, or account data.
6. Third-Party Service Providers
The Application uses third-party services that may process information under their own privacy policies and terms. These services include:
- Google Privacy Policy — including services related to Google AdMob and Google Firebase.
- Firebase Privacy and Security Information
- Google User Messaging Platform and AdMob Privacy Information
- Cloudflare Privacy Policy
We may also disclose information where required by law, to respond to valid legal requests, to protect our rights and users, to investigate fraud or abuse, or in connection with a business reorganization, acquisition, or transfer of assets.
7. Data Retention
We do not retain your recorded videos, processed videos, camera feed, microphone recordings, or facial data on our servers.
Information processed by Google AdMob, Firebase Analytics, Cloudflare, or other third-party providers may be retained according to their applicable policies, service configurations, legal obligations, fraud prevention needs, and data retention practices.
We retain any information within our control only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
8. Your Choices and Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or objection to certain processing of personal data. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
You can take the following actions:
- use the Application’s available privacy settings to revisit ad privacy choices where offered;
- manage advertising identifier and ad personalization settings through your device operating system;
- revoke camera, microphone, or media permissions through your device settings;
- uninstall the Application to stop further data collection by the Application;
- contact us using the email address below for privacy-related requests.
Some data handled by Google, Cloudflare, or other independent providers may need to be managed directly through those providers under their own policies and controls.
9. International Data Transfers
Our service providers, including Google and Cloudflare, may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Those countries may have data-protection laws that differ from the laws in your jurisdiction. Where applicable, these providers apply their own contractual, technical, organizational, and legal safeguards for international data transfers.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information under our control. However, no method of electronic transmission, storage, or processing is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children’s Privacy
The Application is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a child under 13 has provided personal information directly to us, please contact us at the email address below. We will review the request and take appropriate action.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the Application, our data practices, legal requirements, or third-party services. We will post the updated version on this page and update the “Last updated” date above.
